Super 73 (81-NL-8115173) was a top racer and prepotent breeder, winning First Ace Pigeon Holland Sprint 1984, Limburgh, then 1st Overall Ace Pigeon Holland NPO 1985, approx. 50,000 lofts!

In 1999 Jim Gabler acquired key birds from the Super 73 Van Loons and fast forward to the 21st century that he indeed made a sound decision in his special selection of truly exceptional Van Loon birds of all time. Even today 21 years later, the ‘tried and tested’ proven descendants of these “Super 73” VanLoons are still at the top in global racing pigeon competition!
